About

Funny Animal Books is a collection of the art and comics of Michael Arthur, also known as this guy:

Michael Arthur sprung from the red dirt of Alabama like a bean.  He was raised by kindly humans and taught how to draw comic books by a benevolent wolf pack.  Chinese restaurant place-mats say that he was born in the year of the Rabbit, and that means that he is very lucky, sensitive and shy.  He is an occasional contributor to the Hooded Utilitarian and the “furry” pop culture blog rruffurr.

You are so epically epic that even the word epic does not come close to how epic your really are.
Thus, further, I will refer to you as [blank].

Cool comic. I like Go Ye Dogs. Reading it now, interesting art style. The characters are pretty neat.

Just thought I’d say that. :)

it looks like an innocent enough photo of the artist at first, but then the tension becomes eminent… the asian food, condiments, patrons; the wallpaper fur shur, the striped shirt ‘n 3D hair, windowlight, makin a spatial statement… truly a lot goin on here! and he’s a talented guy & cute as a little button

Michael, is there any chance you might put up an archive of the previous incarnation? I know it’s not “canon” anymore but I found the artwork delightful and what I managed to read of the story (I came upon it just about the time you decided to rework it) makes me want to read it on its own merits. I really do hope to get the opportunity. :)

Thanks for the enthusiasm! It might be a while before I get around to it, though. I’ve got a lot of things on my plate.
