I’ve been waiting for Summer Wars to be released in the US for a long time. Earlier this summer I even tried to order a shady-sounding copy with permanent Korean Hangul subtitles! Well I finally got to watch the official US version and was just stunned and pleased and in wonderment. What a treat.

But far better and more important anticipated good news came to pass this morning. My boyfriend’s niece was born! I am ecstatically looking forward to being her cool gay uncle. Blessings!

GO YE DOGS! back up next week + New Comics update

GO YE DOGS! Will begin updating on Monday and will resume updating initially once a week, then twice a week, then back to three times once I’m comfortable with my backlog. I had allowed myself to let the strip go fallow in anticipation of a website redesign. I’ve lost contact with my web guy and I decided that it’s time to bite the bullet and get back to work. Several pages are complete and in the queue for the next couple of weeks. I humbly thank everyone for their patience and encouragement.

In other news, I’m contributing a comic called Tea+Bread to the “furry” art and pop culture blog rruffurr. It’s informed by my life in Chicago but is not autobiographical. It updates around every two weeks. The goal of the blog in my words is to expand and elevate the much discussed “furry” fandom to recognize serious art and social commentary.
